Assistant Principal Mr. Sean Ryan
Meet Assistant Principal and Sophomore Class Administrator
Mr. Sean Ryan began his career in education as a classroom teacher and athletics coach in the West Chester Area School District, primarily working at the high school level while also teaching some middle school classes. With dual certifications in Math and Social Studies and experience in Special Education, he brings a diverse professional background that sets him apart in secondary education, where specialization is more common.
His career also includes three years as an Assistant High School Principal in another district, providing him with a broader perspective on the high school experience. He returned to WCASD in May 2021.
As an Exton native who currently resides in the area with his family, Mr. Ryan has a deep appreciation for what the community offers its residents. His goal is to help East students engage in meaningful work that prepares them to pursue their aspirations beyond the WCASD. He looks forward to collaborating with the East community to support students in developing the skills they need for success. Go Vikings!
