FAFSA
FAFSA is used by the Department of Education to award federal financial aid from the US government in the form of grants, work-study programs, and loans. When students apply for aid, they do not receive funding from the government directly. Instead, institutions are allocated a certain amount of financial aid to award to students each year. Access the application here.
CSS Profile - Opens October 1
The CSS Profile is an application for college financial aid required by 300 colleges, universities and scholarship organizations (click here for a list of participating colleges/institutions). Each year, CSS Profile unlocks access to more than $10 billion in nonfederal institutional aid for thousands of students. Click here to learn more and access application
